Özet
A quirky middle-grade adventure about an eccentric town and a young boy who must find his missing neighbor.
James has always felt invisible, even in Edge, a town where being weird seems to be the rule, not the exception. At home, his mom is too busy selling phony love charms to notice him, and his sister, Nettie, is a total mystery.
The only person who has ever truly seen James is Larry, his elderly neighbor and a gentle, soft-spoken war-veteran who has looked out for him for years.
Then Larry goes missing, and it’s up to James—along with his loyal dog Little Face—to find him. But a storm is brewing in Edge, and if James fails to get Larry home before it breaks, he may lose him forever…
James on the Edge is a heartwarming, powerful story about finding your place in the world, and learning to stand up for what you believe in. Blending an intriguing mystery with moments of humor and heart, it celebrates unlikely friendships, courage, and the importance of being seen. This poignant middle-grade story is perfect for fans of The Wrong Way Home by Kate O’Shaughnessy and The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q. Raúf.
