So, when Serina spies a handsome stranger at an open house, she thinks her luck just might be changing. Then again? Maybe not.

Fortunately, while on the white sandy beaches of Southwest Florida, Serina discovers that all is not what it seems if you just open yourself up to fate.

This is a short story and follows the POV of Serena Spring. After trading in her real estate career in Manhattan and an ex-boyfriend, she moves to Naples, Florida. She ready to start anew, but her gran has plans for her, namely setting her up on a blind date. Our love interest, Grayson, also has a meddling grandmother on his hands. Also leaving the bustle of Manhattan, these two have a lot in common. When they meet at Serena’s new job, a connection is made. Can they fit into each other’s new lives?

This story was fun and easy to read in one sitting. I liked the way the story was told and the way the events unfolded.

Narrated by Elizabeth Klett, a new-to-me narrator. She was a good choice and did well with the narration.

A cute, low stakes, short read! 💕
