Summary

A heartwarming prequel to Christi Caldwell's Along Came a Lady! First love shattered by family obligations. A chance encounter reunites lovers after a lifetime apart.

Recently widowed, Lady Lydia has never forgotten her true love Geoffrey, the duke of Bentley. Except years later, Geoffrey doesn’t resemble the bright young love Lydia remembers.

Indulging in a rakish lifestyle has left Geoffrey, the duke of Bentley, hollow. Now, in his time of need, he turns to Lydia, his one true friend.

Can the duke convince Lydia to try again? Or will past mistakes keep them apart - this time, forever?

Even Older People Deserve a Happy Ending!

"Even Older People Deserve a Happy Ending" was the best quote in this sweet beautiful short story! You can always count on Christi to deliver something special :)

Precious story

Oh Christi! I loved this humorous, sweet story. I laughed at the naughty friends and befuddled family, sighed over the main couple, and swooned over Tim Campbell’s voice pulling me into their world. Perfect.

You have to love a silver fox!

What a great prequel! I can't wait to read the All the Duke's Sins series. And as always, Tim Campbell's narration is the best.
