Summary

Do you occasionally have that strange feeling known as déjà vu? Do you sometimes feel that you know what is going to happen next? Do you ever have a strong feeling that actions you are about to take are the right (or wrong) thing to do?

All these perceptions may be everyday clues to your immortality. This audiobook proposes a simply amazing theory - a theory that states that personal death is a scientific impossibility.

Using the latest findings of neurology, quantum physics, and consciousness studies, Anthony Peake suggests that we never die. After listening to this audiobook, you will understand the reason for your life and how you can make it better next time.

Ironically was a book that fit me well.

An informative book that brings many interesting aspects together and explains them clearly. It presents interesting theories and facts. The first few chapters were especially interesting to me that I have came across in various niech articles but learnt so much more.

Fascinating

A rich in depth look at the nature of death & therefore existence. The duality of the human condition & states of consciousness. Lots of points of reference for further investigation, as well as an interesting exploration of de ja vu.

What I particularly enjoyed is the detail of the brains role in functionality too.

I only wish more of his books were in audiobook format.

For anyone who enjoys the work of Thomas Campbell, Anthony Peake's work is complimentary imo.

Utterly Fascinating

I read this book a few years ago and loved it so much I decided to purchase it on audible too. It really is a most interesting and compelling listen. I actually find it spiritually uplifting. Also- it makes a difference having the author narrate. Anthony has a relaxing and listenable voice and persuasive and original arguments. I urge people to give this a shot.

Makes you think....a lot!

It's hard to describe this book as everyone will take away different things from this. However, i found it one of the most fascinating books I've ever heard. It's made me question reality (in a 'good' way) and I love talking to friends about a number of the theories discussed in here.

I think I hit the 'rewind 30 seconds' button a thousand times to ensure I understood what was being said, but even for someone with a regulator intellect (like me), it's fairly clear to understand the overall concepts. But remembering them and sharing them in a straight-forward and clear way, well, I still need to work on that one :-)

Highly recommended and I've downloaded his other three books on here as I'm sure they will offer me equal doses of fascination and thought-provoking concepts. I can honestly say it's a life-changing listen.

THE MOST AMAZING BOOK EVER

This is by far the best book I have ever listened to in my life.

The book is called life after death but really it should be ‘understanding the nature of reality’ I think. I just finished it and I’m starting it again

His audiobook life after death is the most fascinating and beautifully written and read audiobook I have ever read. It explains the nature of the illusion of reality from physics, neurobiology, biological, psychological, spiritual, religious and philosophical view points. Honestly amazing.

Excellent food for thought

This book is a bit academic but non-the-less, it is fascinating in my opinion. The author really does, with the help of superb narration, provide lots of food for thought. I've listened to it three times now because each time, I understand a bit more. It is truly fascinating offering compelling evidence of our continued existence after physical death. Simply excellent!

Genius insight

Excellent book! the content was absolutely mind blowing. It was ruined a but by the narrator that can't pronounce "aware", "awareness" "care", "carefully", "share", "there" and similar words properly and for some reason pronounced them with a hard U rather than an A.

I think that it's just a bit of a speech impediment rather than a regional accent thing as his English is pretty good other than this.

it's strange how one little thing can bug you when you are listening to an audiobook.

Enough to last many lifetimes

A wonderful book, with enough ideas & theory to last... perhaps many lifetimes, or at least repeated listening.
God knows I’m not the sharpest tool in the box but I listened without needing to fully understand some ridiculously complex theories and examples plucked from science, psychiatry and the arts.
Congratulations Anthony your overarching theory appears to pull together much of what so many have tried to fully explain. Thank you

Life-altering on a parallel axis

From empirical scientific evidence such as brain science and quantum physics to the mystical and all-essential human experience - this book connects dots like no other.
Brilliant
