Summary

There is a tragic epidemic going on around us - a dreadful disconnect between human beings and the real world we live in. We are paying frightfully little attention to our real-world surroundings. We are addicted to digital devices.

It's time for us to swallow a healthy dose of reality and find balance between our digital lives and our flesh-and-blood relationships. Steve Krupnik's satirical analysis of "digital junkies" makes a clear case that technology is advancing much more rapidly than its users. He turns his keen eye to smart phones, social media, video games, and texting, humorously revealing their negative impact on society.

Listeners may disagree with his perspective, but it is hard to deny that digital devices are changing our lives in ways that may not be in our best interest.

There is nothing new in here

What disappointed you about Is It Safe to Friend a Dead Guy on Facebook??

There is nothing new in this book, we all understand how technology have changed and especially the ones who used Nokia phones at some point in there life. The author does say he doesn't care what people think about his book so I guess no one else will about my thoughts anyway.

Would you ever listen to anything by Steve Krupnik again?

I might, I don't there are any issues with the presentation - its the book that its not offering anything new.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I didn't really go that far to say I enjoyed any scene
