Summary

Supernaturals are real. And so are monsters.

I’m Paul Riordan, son of Siobhan Riordan, and I will never forget that my father was murdered.

Twenty years have passed since terror swept through Ballynagual. But that doesn’t mean that evil is gone for good. There’s a serial killer running loose in town, not to mention I’m in love with a woman I can’t have, and she's in the crosshairs of the murderer.

Some people will die to protect their secrets. Others will kill to expose them.

Me? No worries. I just have to worry about dealing with the undead.

Iron and Salt is the suspenseful third book in the Bloodstone Quadrilogy by Calinda B. A dark fantasy series with tinges of horror and romance, prepare to be swept off your feet to a haunted landscape where dark creatures are real and forbidden desires come true.

Alex Black is a dynamic narrator who really brings life into the story with his voices and accents. I highly recommend this book to anyone over 18 who loves mysteries, and the supernatural.

Supernatural vs mortal evil

I really loved hearing how the twins who are now adults deal with their lives as leviathans. This book is well written and with the smooth voice of Alex Black it comes to life. I loved listening as each character grew and developed as this fast paced story went on. I liked the characters and let's just say even a vampire has a redeeming moment. I highly recommend this book and series to anyone over 18 because it is mega hot and intriguing.

Unexpected happenings

Another well thought out & fast paced mystery/dark fantasy romance. Book 3 in this series takes us to the next generation. I don't think I ever really understood how far we had "flashed-forward", I thought it was going to be 20 years but it was surely more. I enjoyed the storylines of the kids, who seem to find trouble just as easily as the generation before. A very good read ... and now for William ... looking forward to the rest of the story.

Alex Black does an incredible job carrying us through the story!

Again, a great storyline with great characters

Young women are being mysteriously murdered, and the intrigue builds up slowly but nicely in this third in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the first in the series. I was a little surprised that it takes place many years after the previous Book 2, but it worked well. Again it's the combination of the storyline and the characters that make this a good series to listen to.
