Loved every bit of this book.

loved every bit of this book. It hit home on every level. # Quiet Power. One of my favorite parts is how it mentions how the most creative people are usually introverted. It also has a great chapter that covers children who are introverts that I think parents should read. Great book! loved it! it helped me to understand the mind and behavior of an introvert. great!

Will be especially helpful to shy

I'd recommend this book to parents of teens and the teens themselves. I didn't know I was a introvert when I was a kid and I think it would have been good to know!

Lovely audio book

So many wonderful things to say about this book. I purchased this for my teenager and listened it before she did so that we could talk about the contents. If you have an introverted child, this is a must book for you AND them.

Amazing and helpful book!

Have forgiven myself for not being the person I thought I was supposed to be....
It's a big help for young introverts to help them from feeling "left out"
I purchased it for my granddaughter but also listened it myself

understand the strengths and opportunities ...

Great way to help people understand the strengths and opportunities of being an introvert. Looking forward to sharing it with other teachers, introverts, and - oh - introverted kids and teens, too!

Quiet is strong, too.

I recommend this book ALL the time. If you are an introvert, married to an introvert or have children who are introverts, this is a MUST read. Warning for those of us who are extroverts however, she is a little bitter towards the way our society celebrates and promotes us.

awesome!

Love this book! Fascinating, informative, and current. This book included research on both genetic and environmental factors that may influence characteristics of an introverted personality. Highly recommended!

wow

I've read half a dozen books so far about introversion. This is the first book that felt like the author was trying make me believe that being an introvert is a bad thing and something I need to work on to get over. While she's trying to sound positive it's really a talking down to introverts. " If you have the will power you can change." I don't believe the narrator helped the author's cause much. I much prefer the books by Susan Caine.

Thank you! Now I get it!!

Bought book to help my quiet 7 year old and realized this book will help me too. I grew up hearing "speak louder" "is she mute?". As I got older I pretended to be an extrovert to feel like I was "better" and I was trying to make my quiet boy more extrovert so he wouldn't struggle like I did, now I realize there is nothing"wrong " with us.
