As a storm rolls in, a team of elite Navy SEALs arrives at a remote lodge for a wilderness training exercise that becomes terrifyingly real....

Xavier Rivera planned the exercise down to the smallest detail, but he didn't plan the arrival of archaeologist Audrey Kendrick—a woman he shared a passionate night with before betraying her in the worst way.

As the storm is unleashed on the historic lodge it becomes clear the training has been compromised. Trapped by weather, isolated by the remote wilderness, and silenced as communication with the world has been severed, unarmed SEALs face an unexpected and deadly foe.

Audrey and Xavier must set aside their distrust and desire and work together to save a team under fire and survive in a battle against the wild.

“INTO THE STORM showcases Grant’s talent for weaving together heart-pounding adventure and touching romance. Another page-turner!” (New York Times best-selling author Laura Griffin)

This is one of the few books I’ve listened to without having read the book first. I loved every minute of it. The story captured my attention immediately and held it throughout the entire book. I sometimes wished that the narrators would speak quicker as I was desperate to find out what happened next. I can’t wait to read more of Rachel Grants books.

Nonstop action and adventure. Great romance and chemistry between Xavier and Audrey. Multiple POVs.

Make sure you read the prequel - Before the Storm: One Hot Night - before this.

Fabulous narration! I kinda wish they had a third narrator for the other POVs just to help distinguish them but it's not a deal-breaker.

Wow what can I say. What an amazing story. I wasn’t sure what to expect after the prequel but this was thrilling. This story was full of intrigue, drama and suspense. The complexities of the book had me hanging on to every page and listening to it as I read made the whole book come alive. Wonderful narration too. I’m in awe of this author’s imagination and knowledge. Every book she writes is unique. I can’t wait to see who’s book is next. Fabulous book highly recommended it.
