Your brain needs to be constantly worked out

If for no other reason than improving your short term memory, read this book. Your brain, like everything else in your body, needs to be constantly worked out. I’m blown away by what I can remember now (I have the memory of a goldfish).

Boooooom!!

I thought it was really hard at first, but the truth is that most people want to just read a book and BOOM have their life fixed. Doesn’t work that way. It’s so hard and so frustrating, but stick with it! Learning to set boundaries and be diligent about your daily time is so worth it in the end!

I feel a new person!!

Get out there and hustle, ladies!

My book club started reading this, and we’ve really stuck to it and gone out of our way to take action and change our financial habits (we’re all fresh out of college and broke 90% of the time). Very excited to report that after nearly tow months, I’m on a stable path to being debt free! Such a big thing for me and it’s brought about so much peace of mind regarding my financial situation. One of the best Self-Development Audiobook!

Thinking effectively is something everyone should be taught. My only complaint about this book is that there’s not a companion guide for kids! Would love to give my son and daughter the tools early in life to help prepare them for inevitable negative self-talk!

Such a good book!

I’m learning to be comfortable in my own skin.

I’ve been saying the “I like myself” mantra for the past couple days, and it brings me to tears every time. Why should something so simple be so painful? Truth is, I don’t really like myself, and I’m only now realizing that I’ve been inadvertently self-sabotaging my personal and dating life. Little by little, I’m learning to be comfortable in my own skin. I printed out that page and hung it in my mirror and look at it everyday when I’m feeling down about myself.
