Summary
It's everything but business as usual.
Emmie Elliot hadn't expected to come back to Metlin, California. She definitely didn't expect to stay. Miles Oxford doesn't have much interest in quiet bookstore owners. He's a tattoo artist without a space to work, and the last thing he wants is to get involved with anyone after his last disaster of a relationship. Work and pleasure don't mix for Ox, but since he doesn't have any interest in the cute girl with the bold business proposal, he should be safe from any awkward complications, right?
She sells ink. He tattoos it. Unusual? Yes. But a book shop/tattoo studio might be the ticket for both Emmie and Ox to find success on their own terms. As long as they keep their attention focused on business. Just on business.

lovely story
Easy listen lots of chemistry between this couple both trying to fight it. Well they say opposites attract and these two were like chalk and cheese loved it the narror did a brilliant job

An amazing listen
An amazing listen, narrator was amazing at doing it and I would recommend to all and books and tattoos, two of my most favourite things in one place, amazing :)

Over all great performance. Well fleshed out characters and storyline.
Cute unique story and bookstore idea. Ink in its many forms uniquely spun together in this contemporary romance filled with everyday issues, friendship and family.

Sweet Romance
It's 3.5 stars.
The narrator speaks a little too fast except for the dialogue portion which she narrated at the normal speed. It kept throwing me off. All the female characters also sounded the same. Several times (especially in the beginning) I didn't know who was speaking. After a few chapters I did get used to her narration style and enjoyed the book.
This was a sweet romance and not my usual style. It was fine to listen to while I was doing my chores. I will listen to the other two in the series as they are included in the membership and writing is good.
