Super fun to have aliens and tech and AI all mashed into a story with a likeable character

It was cute. I liked the fact that they didn't go for a huge plot, but instead only hinted at one. The academy part was enjoyable and the character interactions were fun. The only issue I see is the lack of deeper character development, but it was still a fun book.
