loved it. really beautiful story and really connects with the reader to make them understand the struggles of different communities.

The male character is really toxic and I just ended up skipping more and more of it, as I listened to it, as it was so hard to listen to it. The author's logic to justify his behaviour is laughable if he wasn't so toxic. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

First, a disclaimer- I got through first few chapters only. The story seems really interesting, the book is well written, Joe Arden is his usual great self. The female narrator however did not suit the book in my opinion. She sounds too matronly and mature, and is not the best match for a modern novel. It left me confused, as she sounded more like Jax’s mother not a romantic counterpart.
