A woman walks the short distance from a New Year’s Eve party to her home in a snowstorm, but she was never seen alive again. It isn’t until the next day her husband realizes she didn’t come home. Eight days later, her body was found in a low-laying ditch in a marshy area. What follows is the story of the investigation as the killer continues to prey on people who make the mistake of getting in his way.
Follow this tale of a psychotic man who loved strangling people just so he could see the “lights in their eyes go out” and the team of detectives looking to put a stop to his rampage.
Based on several actual events blended into one story of about 43,000 words.
