Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

There are lots of really entertaining M/M mystery and suspense stories to choose from. Some have characters that over lap, and the narrators are all really good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Chance, a chocolate shop owner who appeared mysteriously in a handful of the stories. I know he's actually a Jordan Castillo Price character, rather than a Josh Lanyon creation,

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

The narrators are American, and the stories are set in American, so they were authentic sounding.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Its a long book, listening in one sitting would be difficult. It was good that they were short stories, so i listened to one before bed each night.

Love the cadence of this voice. Very charming easy to listen to. Josh lanyon is one of my favourite mm authors. His characters feel so true. Another example of his great writting. Wonderful as always. Stories really feel like the lift of the page. I get so focused into stories. It's sad that they end. Thirteen stories that could developed into longer stories. Endearing characters. He alway writes his characters with dignity authenticity and hope. So enjoyable🙂

Josh Lanyon really is unparalleled in this genre, one of the best writers, even these short stories pack a real punch. I could honestly read their books and nothing else. This collection has a little bit of everything for everyone, from quite scary, to second chances, I listened to it whilst pottering around the house on a Sunday, really enjoyed it
