A standalone age-gap, best friend's daughter hockey romance.

If I had known how irrevocably my life was about to change, I would have walked the other way after talking to my coach. I should have taken any other route out of the Toronto Terror head office.

But I didn’t and now–everything is different.

At first I didn’t recognize the woman doing a victory dance down the hall when she thought no one was watching.

Until she turned around.

And that beautiful smile was aimed at me.

There is no woman more off limits.

She’s the team princess.

And my best friend’s daughter.

This author has come such a long way since her earlier books. Loads more depth to them. The internal struggles of the characters is well done and had some laugh out loud moments too.

So sweet

Loved everything about this, hadn’t realised I’d missed book one, it didn’t matter in the slightest! Characters were amazing, spice on point and the storyline just kept on giving! Running to listen to the next now!

5 stars across the board!

I 🫶🏻 Hollis & Hammer!

That scrunchie. All the Princesses. Just here for it all! 🙌🏼

Honestly such a devour-able book, highly recommend the audio. Both books in this series so far have had excellent narration.

Of course this book was everything, if you’re a hockey romance girlie, you need this in your life! I mean, is there anything better than a book written by @helenahunting ?
If you haven’t read ‘If You Hate Me’ yet, you don’t need to but you’ll want to, trust me!

These men, I tell you! Cannot wait for what Helena has in store for us next. Here for Dallas & Hemi and Roman and 👀 …did anyone think the bad thoughts I did? There was a comment at the end there but maybe that’s just my filthy mind!

Ohhh and the Kodi and Lav references filled my obsessed little heart too! 💜💜💜

✨Audiobook Review✨

What can I say about Hammer and Hollis, I love the chemistry between these two, a good old age gap, an real age gap romance has to be 10 years and older.

Stella Bloom and Zachary Webber (aka Jacob Morgan) did an excellent job bringing Hollis and Hammer alive, when I first heard the first teaser I knew it was going to be a good audiobook.

The spice for this book was more of a slow burn and I do feel like Helena could have given Hollis a dirtier side, but I did like the “you look at me when you c**” line 🔥🔥

Plot: 4/5
narration: 3/5
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Overall: 4/5

I loved this. I never read a dads best friend trope book often but this was written really well. The tension was great between the main characters and the others mentioned in this book makes me want to know all there individual story's. highly recommended this if your a hockey romance lover
