I cannot recommend this book enough. A must read for women on their journey through life. A cry for us to seach our souls, challenge the accepted patriarchal word view and find our place in the world, listening to nature and rising up stronger as a result. The shear relief in my soul is palpable! Finally Sharon Blackie is reading this, her own book, a classic amongst world classics, and so important to the planet at this time.
And what a difference the tone makes. Here her gentle but feisty conviction permeates through to the listener and sits around their heart. Example after example of stories of women who led and lead now in attempts to change the listening of male-led influential leaders. The original manuscript written in 2016, it’s message has been slow in making those changes, so hopefully the audible version will hit home in the psyche with greater impact.
