About this listen

A new holiday romantic comedy from best-selling author of Tis the Season for Revenge!

A year ago, Jules stumbled upon the man of her dreams in a bar on New Year's Eve. After a lifetime of watching romantic comedies, she was sure she had found her soulmate. That is, until she learned he has an entire family and blocked him.

A year later, she’s having the worst day she possibly could, leaving her stuck on the sidewalk outside her place in a ballet costume, watching firefighters condemn her house because of a water main break when a little girl grabs her hand and tells her she’s her Christmas wish.

When Nate’s daughter tells Santa all she wants for Christmas is for her dad to marry the real-life version of her favorite doll, he dreads having to tell her the truth. When they run into the spitting image of the doll, ballerina costume and all minutes later, he’s floored to find that it’s his dream woman who disappeared from his life last Christmas.

Nate’s meddling sisters offer his in-law suite and his contracting skills to Jules in exchange for watching his daughter, and he jumps on the opportunity. Now, he has just a few weeks to use Christmas magic to make her realize they are meant to be.

This is the second book in the Evergreen Park series — a festive and heartwarming holiday rom-com. Jules and Nate’s story is incredibly sweet and full of charm. Their journey is filled with misunderstandings, humorous mishaps, and feel-good moments that keep you smiling. Nate’s daughter, Sophie, steals the show — she’s absolutely adorable and delightfully talkative for a 5-year-old! Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York bring warmth and personality to the narration, perfectly capturing the spirit of the story. A cozy and festive listen!

This one night stand, single dad, holiday, second chance, spicy, forced proximity, hallmark-esque romance was so cute! This was such a good holiday romance. I loved the characters, Nate and Jules were perfect and I absolutely adored Sophie. This story was super sweet and I loved that once Nate fell hard and fast he wooed Jules. This low angst romance was really enjoyable.

The narrators, Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York, were perfect! These two were perfectly cast for Nate and Jules and they made this audiobook experience really great!

I love a long audiobook and I enjoy both these narrators so I had high hopes for "If this was a movie". Sadly the book doesn't have much action or storyline, its bland. The concept is good but I find myself wishing for it to be finished and distracted, not desperate to listen and engaged, Its boring and a no from me I'm afraid.

Great narrators, dull storyline

Wow! Sebastian York as Nate was the perfect pairing! Absolutely loved Nate and how much he loved his daughter and Jules. He was literally obsessed with her! Jules - I get she was hurt by a misunderstanding but after too much back and forth from her they finally get their if this was a movie ending

If this was a Movie is a sweet, cute and romantic story between Jules and single Dad Nate.It all takes place around Christmas time and it is Nates 5 year old Daughter that brings them into eachothers lives once again...or maybe it is a bit of fate also. Sophie's Christmas wish is for her dad to marry the real life version of her favourite doll. They immediately see Jules and Sophie is convinced she is her favourite Ashlyn doll, and Nate has a realisation that they have met before.Jules was the one that got away one New Years eve.. he never thought he would see her again, and now he may have another chance with her.So he tries to win her over and Nate is incredibly romantic and swoony,he really cares about Jules and he is a great book boyfriend. Jules is a little bit frustrating she has been hurt before so she is guarded and well a tough nut to crack for Nates efforts in winning her over. But their chemistry and attraction is off the charts and so it is inevitable that they will get together. The Narration to this story is the highlight of this book Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York make this book shine. Their portrayals of the characters is emotional and funny and they are both so easy to listen to...I enjoyed them telling this story to me. Morgan Elizabeth has written a cosy feel good festive story that would be great to read or listen to all year around. It was a delight to listen to. Adorable 5 Stars.
