After surviving heartbreak and returning to Shiloh, Will must fight for a future with the reckless, damaged Waylon before old monsters destroy the love they were never supposed to have.

He was all I ever needed.

Desperate. Shattered. Lost.
I was a shell of who I once was.

Until him...

I was a fool to come back to Shiloh.
An even bigger fool to stay.

But when it comes to Waylon McAllister, I never stood a chance.

He's damaged. Reckless. Toxic.
A walking, talking grenade to my heart.

But no matter how hard I try, I can't shake him.
Especially not now, when I've finally had a taste of what could be.
I want to love him. Protect him. Make him mine...

If only he'd let me.

Where there's a will, there's a way, right?
He called us doomed.
I'm beginning to think he's right.

Because monsters only lie in wait for so long.
And when our time finally runs out...
It might not just be my heart on the line this time.

*If There's a Way is the second book in the Lost Boys series. In order to understand the contents of this book, you must read Where There's a Will first. This is the continuation of Will and Waylon's story. Triggers can be found in the front of book, and in more detail on the author's website.

I love stories where the author is not afraid to put the MCs through pain and suffering, especially when the problems represent real world problems. To see Way’s journey, Will’s too was great. To see them find happiness after all that pain was great too.

Having said that, was there just a tiny bit much of the internal monologue and did the story itself feel a little dragged out? Yes. Does that take it away from the story? No.

All in all, I loved it. I loved the audio version, the narrators did an amazing job. These lost boys and their stories are close to my heart. I look forward to next novels.

Amazing in audio

You must read Where There's A Will first but oh my gosh what an emotional read these are. Beautiful story and equally beautiful narration, the sort that stops you in your tracks just to hold your breath and listen. With added spice that fits the story just right. Highly recommend 💕
