great characters

Enjoyed the story. Yes, the Wherlockes and the Vaughns are eccentric, but they are far more. This series highlights the unconditional love within an extended family. New family members (spouses, step- and adopted children) receive the same love and support as if blood. Every story in the series has been different except for this element. That is a welcome similarity.

Wow..

Any additional comments?

I think this was my favorite, by just a little. I absolutely loved Hartley and Alethea.
The secondary were just awesome: Argus, Olympia, Aldus, Iago, Gifford, Germaine and Bayard.
Claudette and Margarite were truly something else. What a murderous pair of siblings.
The sex in this book was very well written and I can't wait to read the next one in this series.
Highly recommend!

As to the narrator: She is just awesome. She gives the men such sexy voices. I would never get tired of listening to Ms. McNab.

#3 book...gets better and better

I think I'm getting used to Ashford MacNab's voice like it more than in the first one.
This series is more and more interesting. I really like how the author brings back some of the characters of the first books. These Wherlocks and Vaughts are quite fun.
Now to number 4

Outstanding!

Would you listen to If He's Wild again? Why?

Entertaining and enjoyable! A unique romance with a touch of paranormal. The story starts from the very beginning, no lag in the first few chapters and it continues to build. Strong supporting characters but Howell never looses focus of the main characters and main story line. She is not predictable! Wonderful narration. This one is a treat and I am so glad there are more to follow.

Good read horrible narration

Love, love loved the story, like I have loved the rest of the series.
The narration was awful. Totally soulless and clipped and the male voices sounded like at robot with a headcold. Which was very distracting as was the accents.
Plus, I kinda feel cheated because the narrator was named Ashford I expected a male voice, but no.

Loved It

The narrator did a good job. Once again the author wove a great storyline with enjoyable characters that kept me engaged for the whole book.

If He's Wild

This is the third of seven books in the Wherlocke series by Hannah Howell. Each story is about a kinsman in the Wherlocke and Vaughn families who seem to have an extra ability to help those around them. In older days they had been burned as witches. Lady Alethea Vaughn Channing has visions of people. While looking in the fire she sees a man whom is known but not known to her getting killed. This leads her on a wild chase to London to save the man. Lord Hartley Greville is a known rake of the ton. When she gets there she asks her uncle for an introduction. That is when the dominos start falling in a way that is unpredictable. She just might have changed destiny for a bit. But is he still going to end up dead in the end? Or will they have their own happy ending that is not always done in the ton? The narrator in this one, even though the same as the first two books, is getting into the story better.

Keeps Getting Better

This series does not disappoint. You are drawn in from the beginning and each one has a different twist even though you are dealing with the same family. This series so far is a must listen. I am on to book 4.

I enjoy this serious and this is the best one!

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoy this series and each family member is a joy. The books are funny, romantic and interesting. This one has two sociopathic sisters, kill men for their secrets. And of course their money.
