Too long - beautiful HEA but the angst to get to it is painful

First Andi Arndt did a good job but it really needed 2 narrators. The story was obvious and sad except for a few parts. Everyone deals with life’s hardships differently but the joy and duty of caring for your child should take precedence and Elizabeth’s self absorption for most of the book or months of Lizzy and Christian’s lives made for a story that dragged. When you want to fast forward and skip some sections of dialog you know this needed a better edit. Would have been better as a novella and or add more to the storyline with a subplot with some of the other characters like maybe Matthew and Natalie. Fortunately this was included in the Romance Package so I didn’t waste a credit.

Love

If you read the past two book read this one! If you find yourself angry during this don't worry I was too! But don't worry it gets good and it's really worth it.:)

Great end to the series

Very emotional and sad, but they get their happy ending. Definitely worth a credit to finish this series!

So Depressing and so much Unnecessary Sadness!

I loved the other two books, but this book was nothing but unnecessary sadness. Like 5 1/2 hours of talking about something they don’t even tell you about until 4 1/2 hours in. The only time I review a book in full is when it’s really good or really bad, and this one was really bad. I skipped thru 5 to 10 minutes here and there bc I could not stand to listen to anymore of the same dreadful nonsense. If I wouldn’t have liked the first 2 books so much, there is no way I would have finished this book. Thank God, it has a happy ending!

Great Series

This was a sweet ending to a heartwrenching series. Sort of long drawn out but so worth it. Andi Arndt was great as usual, however a male narrator might have added to the angst and joy.

Love Andi’s Narrating....

But I wish they would have used Joe, Zachary or Sebastian for the male voice. The story was super sad but I’m glad it came back around.

I never write a review I love listening

Hi I listen to the 1st 9 hours and it was a great book the second book was 6 hours a I listen to Elizabeth take almost a year to come to terms. I’m not judging but when you listen to all those hours it’s hard. I love Christian, he was a big dish but again at 22 please. I started to listen to book 3 and honestly the first 5 mins told me what I was going To be listening too. I love Elizabeth but shoot give us a break. I deleted book 3 and moved on To something else’s sorry!!!!!

EMOTIONAL..

This was a very emotional story. I think that it was extremely well written and very moving. Once I started listening, I couldn't stop but it was a sad, slow ride to get to the 'happy ending' that I anticipated.
Of course, Andi Arndt, did an excellent job but a male reader would have been nice.

Very Deep, Emotional and a bit too drawn out...

I love A.L. Jackson’s books. Some of them go so deep into emotional description which a lot of times is just way to much.
This book is one of them.
I wish the descriptions of their feelings for each other, the way she sleeps, the way she breathes, the sun rising, the waves, etc. weren’t so long and descriptive.
There was a lot of eye rolling.
Elizabeth and Christian struggle again as they get back together for the 2nd and 3rd time.
The way it was written is a very back and forth with time and I don’t mind that, but this was annoying. You don’t find out why they break up in this book until half way through.
When you do find out, what follows is hard to listen too.
Just not my favorite A. L. Jackson Book.
I would have been happy at stopping at Book Two in this series.

I felt as if I had run 20 miles in a sweat suit by the end of the book.

This book was exhausting. So many ups and downs. So much upset, love and sadness. I adored the romance series of Elizabeth and Christian. The story telling was amazing. They were so much in love how could they have any problems? Nothing worthwhile is easy. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a challenge.
