Hot and Hilarious

Great listen

I didn’t know what to expect going into this listen but I really enjoyed it! The story kept me interested enough to finish it in a day and the narration was great and I’m quite fussy when it comes to that!

Boy was this STEAMYYY!!!

The first book in this series is absolutely fantastic!
It’s got action, smut, steaminess, alien madness, kidnapping, dystopian world.
I’m sure I’ve missed out loads but you get the point😄.
I’m not really into alien fantasy books. However, I really enjoyed this as it focuses more on the romance while having alien bits too.
I literally got through this book so quickly as it is action packed and I just wanted to know what happens.

I would 100% recommend this book. It’s definitely explicit and x-rated.
I will be continuing with the series.

Brilliant

This book is brilliant, very, very steamy. The narration is excellent. I found myself bursting out laughing at the humour too. There were some touching and sad moment also.Ruby Dixon may follow a formula with the type of romantic hero and heroine but the whole romantic genre does anyway. A lovely bit of escapism with characters you can engage with. You will be drawn into the world. Georgie is my favorite heroine in Dixon's books so far.

🥵 I mean!!!

I saw this book on Tik tok and thought I have a quick listen and see what the fuss was about and now… I can’t stop thinking about this book and the blue men I can’t wait for the rest of the series !!! Would recommend if you want a quick story with a good story line and spicey scenes I will add there was a lot of smiles and laughs !!!

First of many.

Until today i had never heard of Ruby Dixon. I came across this book in the recommendations in kindle, while I was looking for something else and decided to give it a go.

I am glad that I did!!

This is an interesting book about human females getting abducted by aliens!! Something mankind has always wondered upon, due to do many claiming that they had indeed been kidnapped and tested upon alien creatures, possibly trying to understand us?? 🤔🤔

Well whatever the reason it is something many believe in, but just as many claim that those are just crying wolf and/or wanting the mass attention of the everybody.

This starts as Georgie awakens in a holding bay with several others in there too. Some have been there a few days, while others have been there for weeks. It turns out however, that Georgie and these others are spares.

The original six women....all aged 22 years old, as well as the spares....are in hibernation and are oblivious to their capture, unlike Georgie and the other girls.

They are to be quiet at all times or suffer horrendous consequences, as one such girl....the last one caught after Georgie....Dominique was to find out.

If you have suffered any sexual trauma of such, which triggers any lingering traumas, then trust me when I say this book is not for you!! I

Eventually something happens and the cargo hold has to be jettisoned on the nearest "habitable" planet. And this is where the story takes off. Georgie leaving to attempt to find help and ends up hanging around when Vektal comes along.

Now Georgie needs to try and get Vektal to help her, but all he cares about is that she is his resonance, (mate) and he wants to get down to making the beast with two humps😂🙈🙈🙊

I'm not going to say anything else now as you really need to read the book and find out what happens, when an alien with horns and a tail, meets a human with neither 🤗🤗

Now the narrators for this book are Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd. These two narrators are just as unknown to myself as Ruby Dixon, so I've come across three unknowns previously to today. And again I'm really happy to have taken a chance upon the three.

I really thoroughly enjoyed listening to them both. Hollie read Georgie perfectly, giving her a no nonsense attitude and voice to match. The way she speaks really gives you the image of her basically tapping her foot impatient to get things going.

Meanwhile Mason narrates with an almost lazy, sleepy voice for Vektal, giving him a very laidback, patient and caring tone.

Because of this, you get a real feeling for these characters.

While there are other characters, this book is centred more on these two characters than anyone else, as it should be when you meet a smoking hot alien guy and a sexy 22 year old female and both are single....hubba, hubba baby 😂😂🙈🙈

Anyway I'm going to shoot off now as I've got lots more books to read. As for recommending, that's an absolute yes.....just in case you didn't catch it 😊😊

Hollie is great!

This isn’t the sort of book I’d usually read and some aspects of the story weren’t to my taste, but the production values were good and Hollie’s sassy southern delivery was excellent! She gave so much life to Georgie and that made the story so much more fun.
