Brooke Kent hasn't spoken to a single member of her family in thirteen years.

loved the accents and the charm, I would recommend to any sapphic story lover. Is genuinely one of the best books or audios I've experienced

This is a delightful beautiful slow burn romance, and it's such a sweet emotional journey for everyone.
Thrown away by her parents when they discover she is kissing a girl, she learns to survive away from the fam alone!
Her little brother reaches out yrs later when he is getting married.
She decides to take a fake date to the wedding, a big F.YOU to the parents.
However love starts to blossom for real, and together they explore the possibility of more.💞
Excellent narration, Quinn rocks this. 🎶

Good story but is a bit slow for them to get together properly. I am a bit conflicted aswell though with the representation of England but then that might be because I am Scottish and have no clue about the upper class society of the English south.

the slow burn drove me insane. I loved how descriptive it was with Brooke's emotions and how it touched on healing from trauma

Oh this book was such a beautiful surprise! An intense sloooooow burn that I wanted to end quicker but didn't at the same time!
Understandable trauma from both main characters which the author navigated beautifully. Cannot wait to read more from Emily K Hardy. Well done ❤️
