Peppe Servillo brings an already great who-dunnit to life with his alternating between passion and tenderness, depending on the situation. When Romano looks back at the violent incident that cost him his job at his previous police station, you can completely feel the anger unchained- thanks to Servillo’s performance. Put simply, his acting talent turns literature into true theatre. It’s amazing. Bonkers, as we say this side of The Channel. 🇬🇧
