Summary

This audiobook includes an interview with Ozzy Osbourne from 2009.

People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of 60, with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f--king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.

A lot of it ain't gonna be pretty. I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil. I'm just John Osbourne: a working-class kid from Aston, who quit his job in the factory and went looking for a good time.

Great story

A very interesting and entertaining story for a black sabbath fan but why not get a brummie to narrate.

Couldn’t put it down!!

Really great book. I listened to the entire story over two days. I really enjoyed learning of ozzys life before he was famous, and just how far he’s come, deservedly so. Definitely a must read. My only grumble was the narrator could’ve been an actual brummie. He kept sounding like a Londoner in a lot of places

Ozzy...

I'm not a rocket artist and never been into rock music. I've heard of Ozzy but who hasn't and this is one of the best biography I've heard/read. this man is a living (don't know how) legend. I really enjoyed it. thanks Ozzy..

what a book!

without Ozzy we wouldn't have alot of the music I did when growing up, just a shame he had to go through alot of difficult times, but at least he stayed humble.

Good story

Reader is good, only annoyance is pronouncements of names, Tony iommi for example, wrong everytime.

A whirlwind of a story!

Really enjoyed this. So thorough, full of interesting stories and very shocking at times! I've always loved Black Sabbath and the Osbournes, but I've never knew much about his early days. Needless to say, I'm so grateful this book got written for us to travel and explore him reminiscing his life!
