Conditioned in a life of abuse

The system failed her, leaving her trapped with an abusive father. She’s a survivor of abuse having been sold to the highest bidder. Those that abused her have disappeared and local authorities seem to be at the center of it all.

Overall:
For a small county of only 2415 souls, there sure was a hell of a lot of trouble. Then factor in the religious aspects and you have yourself a wicked town of dastards.
While the story is written in the third person I tend to feel as if it’s written in two points of view. The chapters alternate between the voice of Elenore and the voice of Detective Evan Ramirez.
The triggers were real. I was warned, yet I read anyway. It helped that the scenes were not graphically overdone. Most of what was illustrated was the aftermath. Which I appreciated. I certainly didn’t need a visual of that type of assault. Just the word alone is enough to make me cringe.
This was written well. I blew through it. It was a page turner despite the violent nature of the story.

Narrator:
Lia Frederick was the solo female performer. She had a pleasant voice. She read the scenes word perfectly. The sound quality was wonderful.
The voice of Elenor wasn’t quite what I imagined her voice sounding like but all the same Lia brought her character to life.

Great Book Although Sad

I very much enjoyed this book. It's really sad and heart-wrenching but also very well written and makes a person realize what hell some children actually do go through. Has many trigger warnings so beware! I am looking forward to the next book! The narrator was very good and I enjoyed her reading of this book thoroughly and I will be looking for more narrated by her.

Too short

A great story with a big twist at the end, but ended too soon. Narration was well done as well. I was disappointed that it was so short.

Great Read

Elle: A Psychological Thriller was a great read by Ditter Kellen. Elenore has lived on a small farm with her father who makes her days a living hell. Eleanore has een abused by her father and sold to the highest bidders. The people that are responsible for her abuse start going missing. This is a story about how a girl who has been abused and suffered some heinous acts, can learn to survive. This is a book that contains some abuse and abuse triggers. I love reading all of Ditter Kellen's books and can't wait to read more by the author.

Disturbing

A horrifying story of a young woman who suffers unimaginable cruelty and abuse, a good man who wants to save her and a town that turns a blind eye to what has been happening. The shocking ending left me stunned.
