Summary

An Evil Mind was Chris Carter's most acclaimed novel to date, described by the Daily Mail as "[a] chilling, compulsive portrait of a psychopath, and proves that Carter is now in the Jeffrey Deaver class." It spent three weeks in the Sunday Times top 10 and received brilliant reviews and sales.

This terrifying new standalone thriller reunites Hunter and Garcia in their most explosive case to date.

unputdownable !

As usual an excellent read ! How Chris Carter comes up with his sickening and gruesome story lines I do not know ! Highly recommend this book !

Love the series

I struggled with the narrator for this book. Garcia wasn’t Garcia and it lost me a little. Not my favourite book in the series but a good listen all the same

Worth the wait.

What did you like most about I Am Death?

The twist in the plot was good even though I did have a sneaky feeling of who it was.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I particularly liked the character squirm. cant say no more! Don't want to ruin it for anyone else.

What does George Newburn bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Brilliantly read. The narrator brings each individual to life.

Very dark with graphic violence. Nice twist

Clever book with a very neat twist, the descriptions of the violence are very graphic and not for the feint hearted.

it's a clever book and a good crime novel that is definitely worth a listen

Twisted listening but good

Took a while to get used to the narrator , as the last few books have been a different one , so was a shame to change .

Gory but good

Yeah it’s quite gory but I really enjoyed it. It’s a gruesome story and is graphic in places but I liked it.

Kept me listening.

This is one of those audio books that makes you hope for traffic jams and long detours. Great story and a nice twist.

Too gory for me

The story was intensely timed, and very well read, but I had to skip the gory murders - good solution for the end though!

Holmes and Watson and Jack the Ripper today

I like these books very much, you never know how they'll end. The only wince ever is poor Garcia forced to ask the obvious for those of us not as clever as Hunter
