The timing of this book is so spot on

The timing of this book is so spot on for me! For almost 2-years I have been purging my belongings and simultaneously embracing the fundamentals of hygge before I'd even heard of it. I'm currently researching both concepts and definitely feel like I am finding a happy medium.

An excellent way to assure this topic

I have hear other books on Hygge but this really explains the Hygge way of living so that it really made me want to incorporate it into my lifestyle. I thought it was just a way to get through the winter months but it is really a lifestyle for year-round living. Great concept!

Immensely tempting audio guide

Philosophy of hygge and the related philosophy of minimalism might contribute to happiness, a healthier environment, and more general life satisfaction. It was an easy read and I felt like the book gave some interesting perspective to hygge that finding hygge can be different for each person.

I have become realized well from this book

Having listened to other books on hygge by different authors, this book imparted that while the word hygge is Danish, we must discover how to bring ourselves into our very own niche of calm and comfort.

I found this book to be an intro to that lifestyle

As this book states, Hygge is a lifestyle, not just a concept. It requires practice to reprogram our brains from an incredibly fast-paced lifestyle. I found this book to be an intro to that lifestyle. The concepts are not new, and some bits were repeated.

A comprehensive guide to turning me feel deeply

It focused less on the material coziness and more on the attitude of Hygge. I feel this is a very important aspect of Hygge during this age of division and creeping hate in our civil discourse. If we all work to manage our lives with the hygge spirit, we can make a difference in how our country treats people.
