In a small town in Arizona, the class of '05 is holding their class reunion. The only place they can find for the reunion is a civil defense bomb shelter. The joyous class reunion is interrupted by an earth-shaking catastrophic event, trapping its 53 guests.
The story is about ordinary people surviving extraordinary events with dignity, honor, bravery, stupidity, and malice. A full range of human emotions. The story shows the best and worst of humanity.

Waste of a possible good story
It has all the marks of a good groupsurvival story.
But it didn’t pan out that way.
Mainly the combination of reader and story that I could not enjoy.
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Very boring only listened to first 2 chapters but could not get into it, could not return it for some reason so thats a waste of money.
Would you ever listen to anything by Peter J. Flores again?
What didn’t you like about Jennifer Fournier’s performance?
Her voice was very flat and uninteresting
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Hurrah for the Class of 05?
was so bored did not finish book
Any additional comments?
idea was good delivery not so much, writing was slow and boring.

wasted money and time
sorry. could not finish. Basic idea and theme interesting (or could be). The characters not realistic,. the words ( when the characters spoke to each other) we're just unbelievable,. not how people talk to each other. Nearly laughable. could have been great with making realistic people, reactions, etc etc.
