The writing and vivid descriptions of each and every hunt, along side the colourful nature of the storytelling paint a picture in a way that few writers manage to. Every sentence makes me long for walks in the woods with my strung bow and quiver of arrows at my side. The fact that it captures in such a human way the stories of such great men who without doubt changed the perception of bowhunting in modern times is a privilege to be able to digest.
