Very difficult to listen to as every time a German speaks the narrator attempts a German accent I cringed at how badly. I've read this book previously and it's brilliant - I thought it would be great to have it read to me but alas no, not by this guy. He also tries cringe-worthy Jewish and American accents. Great if you're looking for 18 hours of bad accents, otherwise read the book and don't listen.

Superb narration. A book everyone should read and apply the lessons learned to today’s war criminals.

Very difficult to listen to at times but a must for debunking the holocaust deniers

The most memorable moments are those about Simon Wiesenthal but I found the whole book interesting. Very well read by Daniel Philpott.

An education from start to finish, things have not changed the wicked still 'get away with it'. In a coule of places I had to 'look away' as I could not believe a human could be so inhumane. Interesting how the guilty do not see the horror they enacted and do not take responsibility for anything at all, a position I thought was only in fashion today. Not for the faint hearted, but a must listen. Interesting information on Simon Wiesenthal, if all true a real enlightenment.
