Summary

Dani Malloye hates the holidays, and with good reason. Though her best friend tries to force the Christmas spirit on her with giant Santas and elves that light up, she'd rather spend her time doing what she does best - enforcing paranormal law on the streets of Chicago.

What the blurb doesn't tell you

Nausiating tale of a woman who is magically raped by her vampire boss who has been obsessing over, and stalking her for years. At which point she is so turned-on that she throws herself at him and willingly bonds herself to him for eternity.

It is basically overblown, overwritten, and overdescribed vampire rape-fantasy porn. If that's your thing, this is definately the short story for you.

If not, best skip it. I certainly can't recommend it
