Summary

How does a bad day get worse, you ask? Well...

How about being squished between two huge, naked dudes with their meaty schlongs hanging out and everything?

It's all a matter of opinion, but Carter's day is going pretty badly. He's an engineer captured by bug aliens, now depending on his large, muscled, naked cage mates for food and warmth. They seem sentient, so that's good. But they're also handsy. Which is...complicated.

The military isn't looking for him. Slaves taken by the bug race never come back. Yet, Carter is very much alive, and if he wants to stay that way, he'll need to trust Pykh and Siel, two affectionate aliens with claws, teeth, and size.

Contains mature themes.

Enjoyable

Id never listened to a book by this author and it's not my usual thing but I enjoyed it and listened in one day. Great narrator too.

Sci fi MM

I was excited to listen to this as I love both Sci Fi and MM romance and it’s not overly common to find, especially on audio. The story wasn’t what I expected - quite slow in the beginning (I didn’t initially realise the story is continuous over 3 books) but the concept was overall enjoyable. I’d give it 3.5* overall.

Scifi MM romance

Fabulous narration by Joel Leslie and a great story. Exciting, interesting and plenty of depth to enjoy.

Decent

I enjoyed listening to this, but there were a few niggles. I’ve listened to the next book already and I enjoyed that even more and have got into the series now.

Very weird

Well it was free and I got to the end so it definitely had something going for it. It was really weird for me. I don't normally read anything like this and I didn't dislike it I just struggled with the whole furry alien thing. Joel Leslie did a good job but his accents for the three characters were very odd and inconsistent. The story was also inconsistent. The first night it was freezing cold and after that the weather was never mentioned again and they ran around naked the whole time. Overall not bad but I don't think I would pay money for it.

Space cats!

This is one of my favorite audiobooks ever. I love the characters and how Joel makes them so real. The story is unique with amazing worldbuilding.

Listened purely for my favourite narrator

This was better than I expected. I listened purely because I was having withdrawal symptoms missing my favourite narrator! because I can't get enough of Joel Leslie (Froomkin) best narrator of all time. Listening to him is like coming home to an amazing hug from the person you love most.
This book was included in my membership and was intriguing enough that I bought book 2 and 3.

The series was enjoyable enough that I would buy a 4th if it was to come out.

Surprisingly good

So i was re~aly skeptical.
The only reason I picked it was because it was yaoi and i was looking for something along the lines of alien.
But damn, i was pretty surprised.
It was really good and hella funny.
I can’t wait for the 2nd part.
