Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third is a smallish Viking with a longish name. Hiccup's father is chief of the Hairy Hooligan tribe which means Hiccup is the Heir to the Hairy Hooligan throne - but Hiccup feels like a very ordinary boy. Can he be a Hero?
This book bundle contains the first three hilarious stories in Hiccup's adventures with his dragon, Toothless. Will Hiccup lead ten novices in their initiation into the Hairy Hooligan Tribe. Can he steal back his book of Dragonese from the Romans? Can he navigate the Fortress of Sinister, and defeat the Monstrous Strangulator?
Most importantly, can Hiccup really save the Isle of Berk with a dragon who looks like an ickle brown bunny with wings? There's only one way to find out...

Only complaint is how loud the music between the chapters is. no idea why it's necessary as it's very annoying!!

Loved David Tenants performance!
But there's a 'but' if you're a big fan of the movies.
*tiny spoiler*
If you've watched the movies, and you're a big fan, and you love Hiccup and Toothless that Dreamworks created... And you came here to know more about them and read more of their stories... I'm gonna tell you, you might be a little disappointed to start with... Because the books, tho being really fun and interesting, are VERY different from the movie. In fact they don't really have that much in common... Turns out the original book story was changed a LOT for the movies... the characters were changed a lot, the place was changed a bit and Toothless is NOT the one you grew to love. I'm not gonna spoil much, all that I'm going to say is, to be honest I really struggled through the first book. Wanted to quit half through. I took a break, decided to tell myself this is different Berk, maybe in a different universe and I just need to look at it as a story of a completely different boy and completely different dragon, that just happen to have the same names. And with that outlook, the book became way more enjoyable :) So buckle up for awesome adventures! But just keep in mind, this is a sort of 'What if' version of the Hiccup and Toothless :) and enjoy it with an open mind :) cause in the end, it is really fun to listen to!
Really fun! (but...)
