After reading book 1 I was slightly irritated the story of that book's mc didn't continue in this book... enter Justin, the teasing hot philippino vigilante with chronic pain like myself and I was SOLD! I LOVE how Bryn build this world worth a patchwork of characters and stories that intertwine each other and make for a dark and interesting background, and I love how the yearning and genuine love the characters feel for each other make this series so irresistible that I want to re-listen as soon as I finished. If you're the author, thank you so much for this warm shower of representation... it truly lights a torch in this dark world, one of hope and love. We feel seen and loved!
