Summary

Charisma is that special and exceptional talent that makes you discernible, without even trying hard. It’s not about being obnoxious and stentorian. However, it’s that magnetizing aura that captures everyone’s attention and keen interest.

Through this book, Daniel takes you through the significance and applications of charisma. This is not a book that will make you charismatic in two days. Instead, it is a book that will lay the groundwork for your success journey.

Charisma is a trait most applicable in leadership and is described as a set of capabilities or personal attributes that make an individual stand out.

The truth is that we are all born very different and unique, and this means in all aspects, including our personalities. The author, however, believes that charisma is something that grows with you depending on the experiences you have in life and the environment. You are the one to decide how confident and charismatic you should be by choosing to believe in yourself and also exercising self-love. This will be viewed in how skillfully you can articulate ideas, goals, and visions.

Here is a preview of what you will learn...

  • Charismatic behaviors.
  • Elements of charisma.
  • Presentation and spotlight.
  • Different charisma styles.
  • And more...

Winning guaranteed!

I recently landed a good job and i feel as though this book may help my success and happiness overall. I definitely recommend the read to anyone feeling they need a little boost of "hey, you're a friendly person - people just aren't aware". Go get them guys - they do like you.. And if they don't - consider it a challenge, not failure !

Should be recommended to everyone

I took the time to read several books recently to polish my social skills. After reading all these books, Gary's little "Charisma: Conversation Skills, Influence, Social Skills, People Skills" stands out easily. While each book teaches you skills that are somewhat useful, Daniel 's book is the most comprehensive one. As a lawyer, social activities are part of my daily life and I must admit that Daniel 's book gave me the most novel points that I have never though of. To be particular, I would really recommend everyone !

Everything you need to become a charismatic person

Everything you need to become a charismatic person. The author has read all the books, and studied all the charismatic people. He is sharing what he learned, not only learned but what he put in practice to become a charismatic god. I am as far as the first 2 rules, and I am aware of a better presence while interacting with others.

Excellent book

First person narrative and examples makes for easy - this leaves the reader a chance to reflect how to instill and apply to oneself. Can seem a bit hokey, but when thinks about it after learning each rule and trying to apply to real life, the benefits of this book come alive!

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this aud

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this audiobook. Daniel Michaels did a wonderful job of narrating this book. It is a quick listen but so full of information. My Mom who is 80 listened with me and said she learned a lot. I will listen again and again because you gleam new information each time you listen. I think everyone should read or listen to this book. Everyone could use this info no matter their age or gender.

Great little listen!

There are some great strategies for finding new topics and ways to engage people. Finally, something to talk about other than the weather! I’m going to a big conference and this was just what I needed to point me in the direction for some prep work before meeting a lot of new people.

Reads like a list of attributes

Not sure whether it’s the style of writing or the way it’s read, but the tone often sounds like points put together in list. No flow. Not super insightful either - basic.
Not for me. Stopping in the middle.

A Quick Speaking Guiide!

This is a good book for people who are look for advice on how to talk to people. It's a skill we are supposed to have, at birth, it seems, and it puts us at a real advantage when we do it poorly. I dread awkward silences as much as I do saying the wrong thing - which usually leads to awkward silences, while i search for the right thing to say. That's why I bought the book.
