Getting kidnapped and held hostage in a human trafficker's basement was not on my bingo card. Getting rescued by a paranormal being was also not on my bingo card. (Apparently, I needed to trade in bingo cards.) The guy who took me may be dead, but I know there are more people behind the operation, and I plan to shut it down. If I need to get the help of one of the creepy glowing-eyed dudes to do it, I will. It turns out Liam is incredibly sexy and really good with technology, too. He may be great at hacking into computers, but I'm determined to hack my way into his life.

Ever since I looked into the feisty human that Dexter rescued from a basement, I've been a little… obsessed. Is it wrong that I watch him all the time and hack into all his technology? I'm just trying to keep him safe. After all, he's sticking his nose into some troubling areas, and I can't deal with the thought of him getting taken again. Of course, I offer to help him when I discover his mission to take down a trafficking ring, although my motives aren't exactly pure. The little human attracts me in a way that I can't explain, and my hellhound thinks he's mine, whether he wants to be or not.

Mainly I just love how innocently clueless the hellhounds are around humans - it’s just so funny.
Can’t wait for book 3 to come out!! The epilogue seems to set it up nicely, and I’m going to count down the days!
Im praying the rest of the hellhounds get their own books! I’m also so intrigued by Seb too so hopefully the series just keeps on going 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I also could’ve done without hearing creepy or sexy stalker every two seconds, a few times was fun but yeah it got old very quickly.
I also usually love stalking romances when they’re genuinely just trying to protect and watch over them, but the time between them officially meeting and basically saying I love you was so so short and I’m not really a fan of instant ily unless done really well.
As for the rest of the plot, I think I would’ve liked these books to have been a little longer for more plot to unfold because finding the bad guys was just so easy and they were all dead and done after a few minutes of storyline.
I will definitely be reading/ listening to book one again and I’m looking forward to Aidan’s book and the other guys but I will be skipping this one.

This was a fun little listen. It kind of follows on from book one in the sense we meet the two MCs in this one in the previous book and a storyline from book one threads into this and im guessing subsequent books to come in this series. Humour and banter was still woven throughout this however there wasn't as much of it in this as there was in book one imo and I found myself not as engaged by the story in this one either. Quinton & Liam are fun characters but something was missing from their connection for me and i can't fully put my finger on what it was although I liked the nicknames they had for each other. The found family vibes were there and enjoyable but I was definitely more interested in Aidens character and im looking forward to his book with the reclusive Atlas.
Overall a fun, quick, quirky MM paranormal romance with a sprinkling of spice that's narrated by Iggy Toma & Alexander Cendese who are a pairing i always enjoy. 🌶🌶
