Amazing!!!
I’ve read Chidera’s other book, what a time to be alone and I loved it, but I wish I got it in an audio book purely to hear her tone. I’ve just gone through a break up and this book has made me feel so much better to navigate the world alone! I’d really recommend if you have just gone through a break up, want to learn to be more independent or be your truest self!

THIS IS REFRESHING!!!
Beautifully narrated Chidera! This book hit and hugged me. I had started to lower my standards because the boys here made it seems like I was just being unnecessarily difficult but I'm glad I listened to this. this book is about falling in love with yourself.
it's powerful, beautifully written, well paced, and has so many incredibly useful day to day tips and pieces of advice for how to become the woman you already are.
100% recommend. for everyone. at any stage in life.

a graceful and practical guide to reclaiming our power
A beautiful affirmation of the power of women in the dating arena and in relationships. Non negotiable, the author advocates reclaiming what is rightfully ours in a climate of male power within the capitalist white patriarchal environmental nonentity. As a while woman in my fifties I am in need of this wisdom. I only wish I had spoken with my own daughter n such a way as this and shown her who she is from a young age - a goddess. Thank you to Chidera Eggerue.
