Found it useful to listen to. A bit repetitive but it brings the point home. Would recommend it.

Top read!

I found this book very enlightening and reaffirming. Very logical and easy to follow along and easy to try to apply the things I learnt in my life with my interactions with people. I have recommended it to at least five people who have all gone on to download the book too!

there are no new things here. Overall the book is a good reminder about how to act in certain tense situations and handle difficult people... but... shares the same old advices one can hear from anyone and anywhere.

Useful info and well worth a listen

I've listened to a lot of personal dev books and similar advice books but this book still added something useful. of course specific to the problem of difficult people but also questioning ones own communication and in general to think more about how one reacts and approaches certain situations. I would highly recommend this book and would interested to know of more on this topic.

Excellent help book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, if they were having the same difficulty as I have been having. It has helped boost my confidence, and see things from a different perspective.

What was one of the most memorable moments of How to Deal with Difficult People?

The realization that I also need to change, and that I am too passive possibly causing some of the (passive) aggressive people in my life to treat me the way that they do.

Which character – as performed by Katy Carmichael – was your favorite?

I don't have a favorite, but I can say that it was helpful to hear some of the stories that I can relate to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I often found myself sitting in the car in my garage, after I arrived home from my 40 minute commute, listening to the book until I found a good stopping point.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed listening to the narrator's voice. It was very pleasant, and understandable.

Good Content but difficult audiobook

So far I like the content, but the narrator is just reading slowly and in a not engaging way. So I've been re-listening the narration over and over. If you can pay attention to the sleepy narration way this is for you, if it's not, maybe get the book and read it yourself.

Great book!

Great book! I recently got promoted to a supervisor position. I had extremely difficulty dealing with two employees. Knowing the other two people will continue being difficult, I am able to change my attitude and gain control of situations with help from this book. Surprisingly the two people changed dramatically their attitude towards me as well.

A lot of good stuff--generalities too

Overall, this book was good. It starts with generalities, and ends with them too. But in between there a lot of good examples that help you with practical advice and tactics you can use right away.it was good to read about some of the examples of people that are difficult to deal with, and ways to confront them brother wise work with them to get things done. This is especially true of difficult people on the workplace. I'm not so sure the book to going to any level of detail to truly dealing with an impossible person. Still, a good read.

Worth a listen

This book is really all about open and honest communication. The premise is basically, if you’re struggling to deal with someone, it’s probably because you don’t understand each other fully - unless they totally suck, in which case, burn it all down and run.

Great and helpful read

This book went in even deeper than i expected. Not only did it provide examples of how to deal with difficult people but even people who provide a “one-sided” relationship of any kind. I recently had to let go of a person who was very one-sided so this really hit home for me. I would definitely recommend this book to coworkers, family & friends.

Really Bad Book

This book is superficial, with no insights and extremely boring.

This is the worst book I have listened to in Audible
