Finally got round to this delightful book on my audio-list. Very sweet, funny and footbally. What a delicious first nearly kiss and that actual kiss scene, yummy... CL has such a lovely way with words 😍
Anyway, great story, adorable charaters and interesting football club name changes 😆 Leverton. Lol. Also, poignant post script from the author regarding women and football. And I too live in a Arsenal/Spurs mixed family. It. Gets. Interesting.

Great storyline with believable characters and the added fun of trying to work out which real life player inspired each character and what real life circumstance inspired which part of the plot. You can tell that the author enjoyed writing this and she has invested a lot of emotional energy here. Added to that, the narrator absolutely nails it; she does not put a foot wrong.
