Summary

Every time I turn around, new opponents are looking to knock me down. No part of the magical community is safe. And now my enemies have left me with a horrible accusation hanging over my head, using so many tricks I can barely defend myself.

If I want to clear my name and keep my freedom, I have to turn to the guys who once made my life hell. They've changed their tune and made amends, but how far can I really count on them? Especially if they find out that my greatest foes are within their families.

I'm going to have to find out. The truth can't stay hidden forever. But no matter what the villains in the university and beyond it throw at me, I won't give in. I'm the last of the Bloodstones...and hanging onto that role may be the only way I can save everything that matters to me.

It keeps getting better!

I absolute love this series and the characters more with each book that is released. Rory has been framed for murder and with the help of the other scions, she has only a few weeks to prove her innocence. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how Rory was going to clear her name. The slow burn RH relationship between the scions and Rory really starts to heats up; that scion lounge scene was everything. If you haven't started this series yet, you need to,

This series keeps on giving

I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review. After that shocking last cliffhanger I had to jump straight onto the next book where I wasn’t disappointed!! Twists and turns and a doozy of a cliffhanger! Rory and the guys need to prove Rorys innocence for her trial. Just when you think you can’t love the characters any more than you already do, this series just keeps on giving. Especially with such a passionate, strong and kind female lead. I really can’t wait for the next book.

This audio will charm you

Book 4 in the series. Eva has gone full out with this series. It will grab the whole of you and not let you go. Your always wondering what next . Right when you figure out what is happening you get what’s next . Rory is in a Jam. She got framed for murder . She’s taken away from the University with the black suits . The black suits keep her in a holding cell . They put links on her hands so Rory can’t use her magic . All 3 of her Scions try to help her . They try to find evidence that will clear her name . Rory gets shocked when Malcom shows up and bring her Deb . Malcom is outraged how they are treating her . Declan plays her part beautifully , he finds a loophole within the law and gets Rory free from the holding cell . Lilian ( her moths best friend) just assumes that Rory will use her as a lawyer . But the Barons and the black suits don’t know Rory or her men real well , because during the trial Rory throws the Villains for a loop . Malcom just blew his fathers mind away believing in Rory . How did Rory win the trial Meg and Stephen performance was fantastic. Love how they brought the voices for each character to life

Dropped a bomb!

Eva, you dropped a bomb on me with this one! I finished book 3 thinking that the cliffhanger was a spiteful lashing out from the grandparents and boy was I wrong! I love how this wasn't as straightforward as it could have been, that what I expected to happen wasn't what happened. I love the way that the harem is growing and evolving (that scene in the scion lounge was amazing! And I love her attitude about the whole thing) And, of course, another huge cliffhanger at the end of this book. I'm so lucky the next in the series is due to release soon, I don't know how I'd cope!

I love this seies, it is my guilty pleasure. This story is amazing with the ever developing relationships between Rory and her boys. I really look forward to the next in the series to see what challenges this group have to face next. The narration is great and very distinctive for each character. Loving the storyline

Even though I wouldnt say they were stand alone books they are very good and the story is wanting me to listen to book after book. Just as one mystery is solved it opens up more questions that I must know the answer too. Narration is well done and each character is more defined now. Cant wait for the next in the series.

Book Four

This book starts right where the last one left off. Rory and the guys spend most of the time preparing her for her trail and finding evidence to clear her name. Their relationships grow closer and even Malcom seems to be coming around. I really enjoy this series. All of the characters are well written and the storyline just keeps getting better. This book also ends with a surprise cliffhanger but something tells me it’s not real. Will need to read more to find out.

Trial

Well that was an intense book. Malcolm finally comes around to Roy's side. A big trial happens. A shocking revelation happens at the end. Rory still can't trust anyone, well maybe the other scions. More action happens with Rory and her guys. It will be really interesting to see what happens in the next book.

It’s good but the narrators elevate it!

This is book four of this series. In here everyone or most are starting to realize that they are fighting against something bigger. They decide to join forces once Rory is charged with murder. While I like these stories this will prob be my last in the series. I loved it at the beginning but it seems to be redundant now. I have been losing interest in the characters and what happens to them I did listen on Audio. Meg Sylvan and Stephen Dexter do a great job! All those different voices!

Excellent and a plot twist

Through the book the struggles Rory is faced with the conviction of the murder of her friend. Even in dark times she managed to survive. But this cliffhanger, the plot twist at the end. Hmmm Eva Chase, this makes want to scream out no. And literally half scrabble to get the next book and find out what Rory is going to do next

It just keeps getting better!!!

Ok so now Rory has been accused of murder!!! The Scions and Rory must work together to prove her innocence and find out who is doing this to Rory. Well we know it is the Barrons but we still don't know why. The relationships between Rory and Declan, Connor & Jude all heat up in this book. Also Malcom and her start to get closer and he plays a big part in her trial. The tension between mages and naries is at an all time high in this book and I just know that something is going to break there soon. This book has not as big a cliffhanger as book 3 but let's just say I can't wait to see what happens next. As always Stephen and Mag do an amazing job with the story. #Audiobx Reviewer

Enemies at every corner!

This forth installment of the Royals of Villain Academy starts off where the last book concluded. Rory has been accused of a crime she did not commit. All the evidence points at her being the killer and she has to race against time to figure out how to prove her innocence. Narration continues to be excellent and definitely brings the story to life. The series keeps getting better and better with each book I read. The story sucks you in and keeps you entertained from beginning to conclusion. The Scions step up to the challenge to help Rory clear her name. Even Malcolm is coming around and abandoning his ruthless ways! Finally! The Barons will stop and nothing to try to control Rory. I’m so glad our heroine has an amazing group of guys to help her through this challenging time. The book concludes with a bombshell! So onto book 5 to see what will happen next!

Series of Hits!!

Horrid Charms by Eva Chase and narrated by Meg Sylvan and Stephen Dexter is the 4th book in the Royal of Villains Academy series. Rory starts off locked up for a crime she didn't commit but everything is against her, including the families of her Scions. All the Scions step it up to help her out of this situation. Declan, with all of his time in the Pentacle library, finds a way of getting her at least out of lockup so she has a fighting chance of finding some evidence to clear her name, while the Barons try to get her to agree to another scheme to control her. How do you think Rory responds to Malcolms' father? With a big no thanks, and goes on her way. Does she actually get convicted or sanctioned as she is the last of the Bloodstones? Tune in to book 4 and follow Rory and her harem of Scions to see just what happens when sticking together is better than choosing.

The only thing

The only thing that bothered me was the whisper sync didn't work. The story itself I loved.
