Another exciting novel by Ken Follett combining bravery, treachery, love and loyalty to create a story to keep the reader/listener gripped to the end. Nigel Carrington is a wonderful narrator, giving a sense of realism to all the characters.

as the story advanced I had to check out the facts as it seemed so extraordinary .It was a great adventure with many fascinating details. As
always Follet embroils his view of how sexual activities play out amongst the key characters. This is unnecessary with a tale as good as this.
