This book is fabulous! It has enough depth if you want to know the details on what is going on. But it also allows you to just “get the answers” if you don’t want all the details. The recipes are great and the way of life is very do-able.

Great audible version

I got the audible version and have been learning a lot. There are some good free resources that come with the book and some that you buy, unfortunately for I can't afford the life time membership and eat healthy at this time.

Better ideas

The Hormone Fix provides the latest information about hormones and how to get and keep them balanced. I am in the process of setting up my 10 day keto green detox schedule. Can't wait to try it

Love this book!

Love this book! It's not only for women with hormone fluctuations and menopausal symptoms but who also suffer from low energy, low libido, low motivation, brain fog and more. Amazing

This is a comprehensive and cutting edge book that gets too the root cause of women's hormone issues and teaches them how to heal themselves naturally. It should be a must listen for all OBGYNs who continue to hand out synthetic, harmful hormones to their patients because they don't know any better. Valuable information

What a valuable resource. I have hypothyroidism and the keto diet has been largely dismissed as an option for this large population of people who struggle (to put it mildly) to lose weight with traditional measures. But Dr. Cabeca's approach isn't like traditional keto, and could actually help thyroid patients overcome other residual symptoms in addition to excess weight. I'm listening the book and am planning on giving the keto-green program a try. I appreciate what Dr. Cabeca is doing (and has done) to help women like me navigate the challenges of shifting hormones and changing bodies with dignity, improved energy, and love lives intact!

Special book

This is a special caring doctor who wants women to live their best lives and lovingly shows us how to get there. No need to suffer because of hormone changes. There’s a wealth of knowledge in this book and this is one of those books worth having! So much good information to highlight and refer back to regularly. Awesome tune

After suffering needlessley for more than several years with menopause symptoms( hot flashes, sleep disturbance, low mood , NO energy, hair loss, brain fog, etc etc) I embarked upon Susan Johnson Magic Menopause Intensive 7 week course. I was blown away by her approach: A fountain of knowlege that is clearly presented and explained as to why we can go haywire during this stage of our lives, backed by solid science and hard clinical data( what gets measured- gets managed ),brought to life by her own personal raw life experiences, a beautiful blend of western and eastern traditions, and plain common sense that we mammals seem to have forgotton in the electronic age. I would highly recommend this book for woman of all ages...its a lifesaver! I have been following her keto-green way, losing weight and feeling great- and goodbye to all those horrible symptoms I described at the top of this post. Thank you Susan Johnson, you are one amazing angel

I really appreciate the time an effort Susan Johnson put into this book. My only regret was not having a book like this one earlier. I love the twist she gave to the keto diet, which I know has many health benefits. Last year, I started on the conventional keto diet full of hope that I was going to loose weight and improve my health. I started my husband on it as well, mainly because I did not want to see chocolate cookies in the house any more. I had my anual physical and lab works done before I started the diet. My labs were mostly normal. However, after 4 months in the diet, i did my labs again to see how I was doing. I was surprised to see that my cholesterol levels had gone from normal to really high in just 4 months. However, my husbands labs specially the cholesterol panel had actually improver. I felt very discouraged and started eating high carb process foods again. I gained the 30 Lb i had lost and felt more discouraged that ever. Now a year later, I had lost all hope. On the other hand, my husband remained in the keto diet and looks and feels better than ever. I knew I wanted to follow keto again, but I also knew that I had to make different food choices in order to make it work for me. Listening to the audio version of this book and having the paper version for reference, I realice why keto had worked for my husband and not for me. This book have me the information I needed and the hope I had lost. my hope is to lose 90 lb in 1 yr and to be the better version of my self I can be. At 39yrs old, I am also thankful to know that I have the information to make my menopause years more tolerable as well. Am sure my husband will be thankful too. I will update this review to reflect my progress.
