At the edge of Earth's atmosphere, where the blue horizon bleeds into the black void, billionaire daredevil Dillon Pace prepares to make history. The year is 2030. From a desert launch site outside Las Vegas, he ascends in a custom capsule for the highest freefall ever attempted, a live-streamed spectacle designed to prove that mankind knows no limits.
But the horizon holds secrets. As Dillon plunges from the edge of space, his suit cameras capture something impossible: a shimmer in the void, a distortion against the stars, an immense structure concealed by an invisibility shield, watching from above.
What begins as a celebration of human courage becomes Earth's darkest warning. Within hours, the laws of nature begin to fracture. Gravity still anchors steel and stone, but it no longer holds the living. Across cities worldwide, people are torn from the ground, ripped from sidewalks, pulled from vehicles, lifted from beds, and swallowed into the sky. Pets vanish from backyards. Birds lose their bearing and spiral upward in silent flocks. The dead remain in their coffins, but the living are claimed.
The anomalies spread with terrifying precision, and one truth becomes clear: the cloaked ships are not merely observing. They are selectively stripping the Earth of its hold on organic life, methodically harvesting humanity from the world it built.
Amid the chaos, an unlikely alliance forms. Dillon Pace, once the symbol of human audacity, finds himself thrust into a crisis that dwarfs any stunt imaginable. Beside him stands Dr. Beth Alves, an astrophysicist whose radical theories on targeted gravitational fields were dismissed by the scientific establishment. Now, her ridiculed research becomes humanity's only map through the unfolding nightmare.
