Mario has always loved Lena, however, their lives are not compatible, so much so that if anyone knew they loved each other, someone would die.
There is a mafia storyline here, however, the book primarily focuses on Mario and Lena's relationship. It is crystal clear how much these two love each other and I loved seeing their tender side in such a harsh deadly environment.
There are a few twists and turns throughout so it made listening to this book very entertaining. It was captivating and I would intentionally drive slower so I could listen to more of the story before I had to park the car and stop listening haha!.
Overall I really enjoyed this book.
