Summary

Homer, the world-renowned Blind Wonder Cat, returns this holiday season with an ins-purr-ational tale filled with holiday cheer!

Fifteen years earlier, doctors had warned that Homer - a tiny, sightless kitten - was unlikely to survive and probably wouldn't have much of a life even if he did. Miraculously and against all the odds, however, Homer grew into a feline dynamo who scaled seven-foot bookcases with ease, saved his human mom's life when he chased a late-night burglar from their apartment, and rose to global fame-paving the way for other special-needs animals once considered "unadoptable".

Now, only two weeks before Christmas, with doctors once again decreeing that Homer didn't have much time - that he wouldn't even make it to Christmas Eve - Homer showed everyone that he still had one more miracle left in him. The heroic blind cat proved again, once and for all, that hope and love aren't things you see with your eyes. You see them with your heart.

Humorous and heartwarming, Homer and the Holiday Miracle will leave you filled with the true spirit of the season.

A beautiful ending

A most poignant ending of a much loved and precious cat that changed many lives. My wife Monica had such a rescue cat that changed her life, unfortunately she died but Lilah continued and gave me solace during the many years of my grieving.
This story of Homer is a lesson in overcoming life’s obstacles we can all learn from if we just take the time to read and digest it. A book I will listen to again I know.

Heartwarming

Story is hot, warming and a fitting conclusion to the tail of Homer, for anyone who has loved his original story and wants to know it’s conclusion, beautifully affectingly red by the author

Tearjerker

I probably listened to this at the worst possible time: it is the beginning of December and my own elderly cat, although not ill, is showing her age. I was reduced to tears as I listened to this beautifully written and lovingly read true story. I have lived with cats and dogs all my life and sadness is the price I pay for loving and losing them when the time comes.

long winded and sad

This begins as religious,a heads up if that bothers you.

For someone who's had a sick kitty it has many descriptions of illness which could be a trigger. She kept calling the vet "doctor" then "vet" which was confusing.

Narration wasn't great ,she kept shouting. So descriptive you'll be told useless things like her getting her head caught in a jumper and what day that happened.🤦‍♀️

Very few moments that were nice with the kittens. No insight on how he managed to live a few months more before dying. Glad it was a free Plus catalogue title.
