I really enjoyed Las and Marco as characters, I loved their slow-burn romance as they both fell for each other more and more. I wish they had talked to each other about what they wanted. Las is afraid to get involved because Marco is only there for the season, but he never asks Marco what he wants and if he would consider staying, he just keeps putting off getting involved because he is going to leave. The setting in Wyoming sounds like a beautiful place to live and I could understand why both men were drawn to it, I enjoyed Las' enjoyment of watching Marco fall in love with the ranch. These guys were so sweet together it was lovely.

I wasn't a fan of the narrator, his voice seemed too old for the characters and it just didn't work for me, saying that, he did do a good job even though I didn't like his voice.

Lass and Marco are two very different characters - sure about themselves in different ways - Lass knows what he wants out of life, but not with love, whereas Marco is more sure about what he wants in love, but not in life!

Very fluffy, low angst and easy to listen to. The traitorous horse was an added bonus side character!

Las and Marco's story warmed me up from the inside out, their slow growing romance coupled with life on the ranch providing an interesting but relaxed storytelling that made me feel right at home. It was easy for me to settle into the Windsor ranch family, get acquainted with the ins and outs of their daily lives, and imagine the beauty of all the nature surrounding them. For Las, coming home to Wyoming was an inevitability, his future on the ranch set in place for as long as he wanted it. Marco, on the other hand, was struggling to find his place post-college and had no idea what the future had in store. I enjoyed seeing Marco explore his passions and take a break from constantly staying busy to reflect on what he actually wanted out of life, and (spoiler alert), it wasn't the fast-paced hockey lifestyle or communications career his parents kept pushing him to pursue. His and Las's wilderness retreat felt like a refreshing oasis away from the rest of the world, and it was even sweeter to see them start opening up to the possibility of romance between them. Las was skittish after being left behind by a past partner, but over the course of the story he learned to trust in love and in Marco himself. Their connection built and built on itself, in the spaces between rancher life, carved out in stolen moments for just the two of them. Marco and Las felt comfortable in a way that I've only read about with long-time partners, and that natural fit was what made me sure they would make it through the ups and downs life threw at them. It was inevitable for the two of them to come to a decision point--would Marco stay just for the season or forever, and how hard would Las fight to keep their relationship going if long-distance was the only path available to them--and I was really pleased by the way things worked out. Both Marco and Las got to take steps towards the careers they truly wanted, and with a solid foundation to their relationship their future feels brighter than ever.

A sweet, low angst romance that takes place in the beautiful setting of Wyoming.
Las asked Marco if he'd like to work at his family's ranch over the summer whilst he figures out what he wants to do since finishing his degree. Marco is a city boy but falls in love with the beauty and nature all around the ranch just as much as he falls for Las.
These two together are adorable, they clearly want each other but Las is protecting his heart after having it broken by his previous boyfriend/best friend and he can't bring himself to ask someone to stay in a place that everyone else wants to leave. Marco is awed by the land around him and I fell in love with it right along with him as the author describes such natural wonders such as the starry sky showing galaxies and comets, all things he gets to be shown by Las. He's eager to learn the land as well as learn about Las, a guy he's been crushing on for months and though it's slow going, they build up to something that they both hoped for but didn't dare believe they'd have.
It's lovely to read/listen to and really easy to fall into the young love that develops across the months Marco works on the ranch. There's a real community on the Ranch with so many staff to help with the farm and the guest services. Las's family are really nice and welcoming, very supportive of their son. We meet several characters that I would love to know more of, hopefully will appear in the upcoming series.
Definitely a recommended book. Amy Aislin is a wonderful author and gives a romance that warms the heart as two young men fall in love under the starry skies in Wyoming.

I'm really coming to enjoy Aaron's narration and the feel that he brings to Amy's stories. This one especially, with how beautiful Amy wrote the setting, Aaron's narration matches perfectly and bring both the characters and Wyoming setting to life. I loved reading this and the audio brought me closer with the slight accent he gives to Las.

Story: I was so charmed! Not only are the Wyoming landscape descriptions to die for, but the story itself is a super cute tale of finding your place in life! Love this theme in books and loved how Amy Aislin shaped her MCs. They are both genuine, mature and lovable from the get go. The book is full of swoony goodnes of the best kind!
Narration: Very good perfromance! I like the improvement I hear in the narrator's abilities. The voice matched the characters perfectly and it was easy to follow the story thanks to good characters differentiation.
