Okay, but expected more

Initially I knew that this was a short story,... a little more than two hours. Overall, I'd say it was okay. I didn't like the many references to 50 Shades. I personally thought the book that book was overrated. This one did very little to develop the characters and hardly kept my attention. I will say without even purchasing the other books in the series that all the books in this series could have easily been coupled into one. Will I read another book by this author? YES. Now the narration of this story is not good at all. It's very monotone. She did not do a good job at all. I've listened to sooooo many audiobooks with terrific tones and pitches. This narration almost put me to sleep even with the steamy erotic scenes. Although I wouldn't mind another book in the series to see what happens, I'm thinking about just reading it through Amazon's Kindle.

Too Much Too Soon

This story has potential however the couple got together WAY too soon. The sex scenes were good but it sounds more like hook ups than 2 people falling in love. The author TOLD me they were had fallen in love rather than SHOWING me and letting me take that journey along with the characters. I feel like the story rests too much on the sex and they hooked up WAY too early in the story. It actually made the story kind of boring.

Great story

The series is off to to good start. Wish book was narrated by a male that can speak Steven’s dialect; Stacy doesn’t do well with male voices; fine with female voice. Looking forward to listening to the next book.

Flat story and horrible narrating

I couldn't even finish. The narrating was so monotone that it was hard to listen to.

no story just sex

a good story makes the reader like or hate the characters (i.e. protagonist and antagonist) the male clearly lusts for female but why is he in love with her..what special characteristics has the author shown the reader that makes her so endearing..its so far fetched. is the sole purpose of the book to be an interracial romance...with no depth? if so author has succeeded, otherwise this book is a failure and i wouldnt read any others by author.
