Editor reviews
One of the greatest mysteries in American history is that surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It has spawned countless books, movies, and has generally occupied our collective conscious for the past five decades. Now, approximately 50 years after that fateful day, best-selling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have produced an engaging and enthralling look at the conspiracies and the truth behind just what led to the murder of JFK. Performed with a chiseled authority by veteran Jason Culp, They Killed Our President is a shocking take on one of the most tragic days in American politics.
Summary
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past fifty years, you're aware of the many hypotheses that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was not done by one man. Whether you've listened to one or a dozen of the audiobooks on this topic, there's no way to fully grasp the depth of this conspiracy.
For the first time ever, New York Times bestselling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have teamed up with some of the most respected and influential assassination researchers to put together the ultimate compendium that covers every angle - from the plot to the murder - of JFK. They Killed Our President will not only discuss the most famous of theories, but will also bring to light new and recently discovered information, which together shows that the United States government not only was behind this egregious plot, but took every step to make sure that the truth would not come out.
With 2013 marking the fiftieth anniversary of JFK's assassination, this is the perfect time for They Killed Our President to be available to listeners. The research and information in this audiobook are unprecedented, and there's nobody better to bring this to everyone's attention than the former governor of Minnesota and US Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura.

web links are annoying
I like this book, nothing wrong with it. the audio version will likely drive you mad when the narrator is reading out excruciatingly long web addresses for links, character by character!

A must listen
If you have any interest in this topic, this is one of the best research rich accounts I've come across. You will listen to this about three or four times as it is so jam packed with information.

Dragged on
Dragged on a bit and the endless Web addresses were a bit annoying. Got a bit repetitive after several hours I lost interest but was still very thought provoking

superior version of the conspiracies
a very well researched body of work by a dedicated and smart journalist that makes a powerful statement for there being other forces involved.

Surprisingly good book.
I didn't quite know what to expect with this book as Jesse Ventura has always due to his very strong independent mind always been flagged up by the mainstream media as something of a conspiracy kook. This however is an excellent book setting out very logically 63 reasons why the murder of JFK involved a conspiracy. In many ways he follows a similar format to Black Op radio's Len Osanic who's online YouTube series 50 reasons for 50 years is also well worth watching. As has been pointed out by other reviewers the constant reference to internet URL's doesn't really work in an audio book and becomes rather irritating. Perhaps the audio book should simply have had an accompanying document giving this information. This audio book was very well narrated and a pleasure to listen to.
