The war to end all wars' was a terrible human tragedy on an unprecedented scale. The programme includes all of the major events, actions, and personalities that decided the course of the conflict.
This is good, short listen but the sound quality makes it pretty hard going at times.
Novel idea, the story is told in the style of an old fashioned radio news broadcast. shame the quality was similar to something from the 30s. Good listen none the less. And I learnt some things I didn't know before.
Good but I found it a little difficult to understand what he was saying at some points.
