This is a story of Jaeger and Elodie. Jaeger is an enforcer for a secret crime organisation called Fraternitas. As a reward, he gets to chase a girl; if he catches her, she will be his prize for the night.

Eloide is a waitress. She is in a difficult financial situation, so she decides to take an offer to be chased. If she wins, she will get a lot of money, which would resolve her financial problems. If she doesn’t win…well, you get the picture.

There is an explosive chemistry between them, and the story unfolds in many twists and turns that left me feeling seriously hot. It has lots of possessive alpha vibes with primal play and eventual submission.

This is a spicy dark mafia romance with a secret society and primal play – what’s not to like! I think this is Lee Savino’s best book.
